So I live in Denver and recently I’ve been looking for a new job after I got let go from the Kroger manufacturing warehouse making 28.50 an hour, and lately I haven’t been having any luck on Glassdoor or on indeed. I’ve been applying to so many jobs nonstop and can’t seem to get a call back or an interview. Can someone help me find jobs here in Denver making 28 or about that much?

I am a young professional... But every job interview I’ve had so far pretty much just wants to know what kind of person I am. They are as interested in my leadership/communication as much as they are in me talking about my experience.

I have been giving a few interviews lately and every Company is asking me to confirm if i can get my NP reduced from 90 Days to 45 or 60 Days. I'm still under probation but assigned to a Project already. Should I ask my Account Manager and HR about it or its unethical to do so. Am i making a mistake to ask and confirm about NP even before my offer letter or its ok to just enquire what's the process and possibility to reduce NP as we have buyout option too.

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.
Any advice on what to do?

The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? Does anyone feel like they don’t want to go back to normal? On the one hand, absolutely I want to. I miss seeing friends, dressing up, going out, and traveling for work. Last week I had to explain to my child what “politics” (as in office politics) is. My child is going to a new high school and wants to play volleyball. There was a 3 day open “tryout” for incoming freshman for 2 teams. After the first day, she noticed that
1) there were obvious favorites (coaches are not even hiding that fact);
2) some can’t even play and got on the team,
3) some that can obviously play but did not get on the team;
4) decision were obviously made before the first day was over.

Power out so I’m off early on a Friday! But, now my power is out…

Deloitte has removed the vaccine requirement to enter the office, but there are still many Deloitte employees who are unvaccinated. Is anyone concerned that we have let these people win? Does anyone feel like we are caving in to the people who refused to comply? Doesn’t this send the wrong message? If they know they can just wait it out, won’t they be incentivized to do that again when the next pandemic comes?
