You need to call her and say point blank you appreciate all she’s done but if it’s too much for her she needs to tell you now. Say you’re more than fine handling the planning yourself and it’s ok if it’s not a surprise and with 0 information so far that just isn’t working for you and everyone else.

We used to speak at least 3x a week. I texted her the other day to see how she was and she said fine but busy with school. I understood and let her know if she needs help to please reach out because I don’t want to have anything be last minute (at least as much as possible)
I told her I hope I’m not coming off pushy. I just have a hard time letting go of control of things and I am working on that.
I’ve never planned a wedding and we are doing things on our own physically and financially.
My bridesmaids have said they reached out to her about getting a timeline for the bach because they need to know how much time to take off for school and work and she hasn’t said nothing back.
Now I’m just a tad worried about it because I don’t want drama but I feel like she’s not telling me everything.

I sent her this text on Monday and it’s been left on read:

Hey! ♥️ So for the bachelorette Thursday morning or Friday evening is open for that. I know I said I prefer during the day but with the time constraint I am being flexible.
Friday morning/afternoon I’m planning on getting my hair done.
The reason I’m a little ahead of the game is because during the holidays it may be harder to get ahold of establishments.
As well as during the spring there are a multitude of events and occurrences happening that will make it harder to book restaurants, hotels, events etc. including:
Spring Training for baseball
Most big artists come here in the spring to perform
Snowbirds (people who come here to get away from the cold/have second homes here)
Spring breakers coming
This all causes really bad traffic and is hard to sign up or book things during that time.
I know this is meant to be a surprise but since there’s a bit of a time constraint and we aren’t really going all out price wise on anything I just figured I’d connect with you on that. If it’s too much pressure to be a surprise it can be more collaborative and we will have just as much fun! :)

Call, quit texting. There can be elements of surprise, but it is never a complete surprise. When is your wedding and how many people in the baccalaureate party how may OOT versus in town? If people are in school/working what makes sense?
Since you know the dates, your above posts made sense to you, but I was left with wondering if the party is next spring, what's the rush.
Before you call her, identify the other BM willing to help. Think about action items
1. Picking a date.... need to survey participants
2. Where... this depends on where people are and how many
AirBnb for the weekend? Hotel? Don't need either.
3. General budget - she needs to get input from the group.
4. If you want to cover some of your expenses - if so be specific... for planning purposes I want to make sure you know i plan on paying for my own ( travel, hotel, and a xyz donation to the party pot) or whatever
3. What really needs to happen now? Reasonable timeline.
And yes, let her know you don't want this to be a burden and there are other people who can help.

The venue said since I need to have something set they will do the rehearsal on Thursday but didn’t set a time. They said it’s take 15-20 minutes and then we go elsewhere for dinner. Wedding on Saturday
