So obviously a lot of our industry and field is remote, which begs the question... How many hours a day do you typically work to get your tasks done?

It typically takes me about 6 hours to get everything done, but I do spend some time outside of that answering emails or phone calls from my manager or other employees.

I honestly don't even spend 6 hours a day on work 😬 There are of course times when I am working a little bit more, like if we're on a deadline for something. But I think most days, my actual work constitutes 4 hours of my day. It's a lucky arrangement but I also feel sort of guilty about it

9-5 currently transitioning as a company to a 4.5 working week. I am very strict with how much time my team works and if they are doing overtime. If they are doing overtime on a regular basis, we look at why is this happening. Do we need to hire more CSMs? What can we automate/streamline?

I work 40 hrs/week and I'm very strict about that -- but I could easily work more just to feel better about the quality of work I'm producing.

Here's mine: I was working in the call center and I was explaining to a customer that he had used up all his credit and that's why he couldn't surf the Internet on his phone. He started to insult me for 8 minutes and, due to company policies, I could not hang up until he had finished.
