Spoke to a b4 recruiter last Tuesday for a S1 position and discussed salary expectation and etc., but haven’t heard back on interview dates. Should I assume I wasn’t selected? Or does it usually take some time?

Decided that I’m leaving audit today. Trying to understand the full range of opportunities in forensics. Will have my CPA and CFE. So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? I'm currently an ops manager at a big 4 in London and received an offer from a small boutique firm with 25-30% pay rise.
