I would love to sit next to that dog. Let me pet it!
Dude! It's a puppy! We all love puppies!
We only treat cats like the detritus that they are.
Weirdishly snobby post
You would never find me complaining about that, love dogs.
I need an emotional support dog after reading this post
This happens on literally every airline
You are ridiculous, OP. Emotional support animals and service animals are legally entitled to be out of carriers. You can easily asked to be moved rather than take a covert photo and make some inane remark.
Puppy!
^ I have never had an animal traveling spend the entire flight outside of its carrier in its owner’s lap - including during takeoff and landing. The emotional support animal designation is ridiculous. I travel on SW all the time and it’s clear people do it just so their pets ride for free.
It’s absurd the rights they extend to dogs. I tried to get on a flight with my emotional support peacock and everyone lost their mind. But someone wants to travel with a dog and suddenly everyone’s cool with it.

This animal is traveling on her lap the whole flight. I love Southwest, but the passengers are rodiculous
Hopefully no gas is passed
You are right, OP. Not everyone likes pets, so people need to be considerate. Don’t care what anyone else says in these comments. I might as well eat my delicious fish lunch on the flight, and not care about the smell possibly bothering others. Since we all want to be inconsiderate
Huh?
If it’s a service animal, no problem at all and no conversation to be had.
But there’s a broader issue here: people who treat pets like human beings. They are not only a tad emotionally unhinged in my opinion, they also tend to be incredibly inconsiderate to actual human beings - treating people as if we’re subordinate or peers to a damn animal. I once had somebody sit next to me at a restaurant with some massive mutt, and they seemed outright offended when I requested to be moved.
There is no way I would have remain seated next to this person.
Some folks are allergic or even afraid of pets- it’s getting ridiculous
Isn’t that normal?
It's the Megabus of buses though...
I hate pets
The nerve of those filthy commoners!
