Between that and the coffee with olive oil added they could triple revenues by charging for using their restrooms 🚽
Any successful business that bats 1000 is lying or overly conservative. As a good company they have to try new things and yes, things will fail. How they fail is important, dint New Coke things.
Take a look at their history Starbucks is very different from their origins. So are most successful companies.
The protein thing is such a racket. Americans already eat MUCH more daily protein than needed and fall for marketing schtick to overpay for engineered foods.
Just eat regular food. Michael Pollan's food rule - Don't eat anything your great-grandma wouldn't recognize as food.
I don’t agree with that, its a cheap and easy way to reach protein goals if you are doing weight lifting. Protein goals which are determined by many many peer reviewed studies.
For general health, sure its not needed.
I count my macros and fall short of my protein target pretty much every day (as someone who lifts weights)
A plain latte made with protein milk (and none of the extra powders or flavorings) is double the protein content of a regular latte, with no added sugar. Add an order of the egg bites and you’ve got a decent protein-based breakfast. Down a few psyllium capsules for some fiber to keep things moving.
The people that work at Starbucks can actually never answer my question. I ask if I get a larger size do I get more protein or more coffee? They can never answer that question. I just want to know if I'm getting more protein at a larger size but they really can't answer that
Online it shows yes you get more protein, but ur right it’s a simple question and if they couldn’t answer they probably aren’t making it right
Protein and latte? That’s gonna be a diabolical day at the office bathroom
It tasted weird IMO. I prefer to drink a coffee and separate protein shake to achieve the same goal lol
Have you actually ordered one?
Today my food intake has been 2 capuccinos & 3 ice creams, so I see the value😅
Dutch Bros if you have one nearby makes their own protein milk and I’ve never known what’s in it but their protein drinks taste good. Not to mention I think I ordered one midday (likely larger than I usually get) one time and seriously did not eat dinner.
I get it, eat real food but if you’re already getting the coffee, why not get the protein one.
