Started as 3rd line software support and over 4 years, I have climbed to junior dev and eventually mid level dev. I'm the "go to" person for system knowledge, due to support experience, and still expected to help out across support & mentor support staff. End of April, I received a call from my line manager who said I've been performing well above junior for some time and they want to promote me to mid effective from the next day. Salary went from £33k - £35k - I feel this is minimal. Thoughts?

However, i have been contacted about a role at IQVIA for a new pure strategy internal group that they are standing up. It would be a 55% salary boost with director title and completely remote. Should I consider it? The salary increase and location flexibility are alluring.

Me: It's not sustainable and I'm burning out. I need help.
Employer: Totally get it. We are understaffed so we need you to be flexible about taking on more responsibilities.
Me: If I'm taking on more responsibilities, would my compensation be able to reflect that increase?
Employer: It's tight this year. Economy/pandemic etc.

My current job I make 150k plus a 20% bonus and an annual cost of living raise anywhere from 2-3.5%. Have been in my current position about a year.
