Although Amazon has instituted a hiring freeze and layoffs are probably on their way, I went through the loop for a security engineer position at AWS. Before I attended the final interviews, Amazon placed the hiring freeze and called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead or cancel my application. I decided do go ahead Right now I'm waiting for their response and the position I applied to changed from "under consideration" to "no longer under consideration". Thoughts?

I fly American because there's a flight every hour and thirty from O'Hare to Boston. Likewise from PHL. If you Connect via DTW or ATL you have one maybe two chances to connect back. So you could be screwed
Yeah, Louisville is a million times better than LEX. If you have a status challenge, maybe go with that. Delta is definitely easiest from BOS, and I prefer its connecting airports.
Also, I do know some folks flew direct to CVG and drove down. Not sure if that's an option.
Delta. American sucks
Delta no question
Delta is a better airline. I choose AA because of more international routes when I want to blow my miles. Also, the delta seat thing is ridiculous. I'm sure American will move to it in the next 6 months but damn, upgrade list to comfort? F that.
Everytime I see AA, I first think Alcoholics Anonymous but then I remember American Airlines...neither of those are things I want to be associated with...
EY1 is on point. American Airlines is a hate fuck. You do it because of the routes and the miles. But you're going to hate every fucking minute of it.
#neveraa
AA - Accenture folks just got an email about doing a status challenge for Exec Plat. And then do a status challenge with delta after
@A6 From the portal, go to Corporate Services > Travel and Meetings. on the right of the page that opens up, under quick links, select Travel Offers. You can see all the special offers for airlines, hotels, and rental cars. They update it all the time, so check often!
American we have a promotion to Elite status
Kentucky? My deepest condolences. Definitely Delta though.
From Logan, I usually had more flight options with AA to southern states.
I've been in boston 8 years and have managed to only fly American once including multiple trips to Dallas. JetBlue is first. Delta second.
Louisville - I'm actually really excited; I've heard very good things. Either way I have to connect. AA would connect through CLT or DCA, and delta would connect through ATL or DTW
@A9: Tell those Muggles your anonymous friends agree that AA sucks hard. Out of the major airlines, only United can compete.
Do the delta Accenture fast track
Delta
AA is the worst !
Been exec plat with AA for a while and agree. It sure as hell sucks. Even the international partners for AA (e.g. British) fuck you over when you try using miles. Would recommend Delta.
