Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Gave them 4-5 days, started planning for how I’d get those days off work during insane times at current job, and now not a single word from them to confirm a date. Been over a week now. Sad. I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity.
