Anyone ever have experience negotiating a new offer to include unvested 401k match and stock grants from your current employer? I hate leaving money on the table but there are some good roles out there. I’m not fully vested in my current 401k yet and my stock grants haven’t matured yet either. Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine. Maybe I’m just a slow learner/out of my league at the big law firm I’m at.

United A320s might be the suckiest configuration in the air. Front two rows of overhead space taken up by O2 and emergency equipment and a crawl space lavatory that you can't stand up in.

I like consulting but the multiple project workload sucks. I have 5 active projects and I’m barely scraping by on each one. I’m just surviving week by week. I could do such an amazing job on these projects if I had 2-3 instead. Sucks
