Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

Think tanks for one. From there, talk to people in the space and see what you find.
If you're curious about more on the ground supporting stuff, I saw a video about a guy in LA who uses Tableau for crime clustering on a map to solve stuff--I'd find the vid and see how he got into it.
I think the city of Oakland, CA also has some stuff going on. They publish crime data and I remember there being some nonprofits or volunteers doing something with it. Don't remember any names though, sorry.
Also there's badly implemented Minority Report sketchiness in some FL sheriff departments, but that doesn't seem like it's doing anyone any favors.
I'd google "crime think tanks usa" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Look up Acumen LLC and SPHERE Institute - we have offices in DC/LA/Bay Area.
What is your background?
I'm in DC. I'm an intelligence analyst with a background in counterterrorism and military experience.
I know that there are some groups at RTI (research triangle institute) and RAND that focus on social sciences/crime.
