Surgical PA with 2 years of experience (1Yr general surgery, 1yr ortho)

Got a recent offer for a surgical orthopedic trauma PA. Looking for advice on determining goal salary and negotiating. Hoping to accept an offer by the end of this week .

Would love any feedback, I’m in NYS and the position is at a level 2 trauma center in college city type area.

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. The work seems like it’s not a good fit for me but it feels crazy to pass up trying to get that amount of money when there really isn’t a realistic alternative to that amount of wealth (and I do want that amount of wealth).

I’m looking for a position with a good organization as a 100% remote case manager. A position that meets my salary requirements and has good health insurance. I love case management and found it when I needed a break from bedside. Any guidance would be deeply appreciated!

I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.

What is the standard billing for a surgery PA? I read somewhere it’s 20 percent of what the MD bills for but I’m not sure how accurate that is?

I'm considering training to be a PA. I'm coming from a slightly different vertical in the medical industry. I know salary is variable depending on location and lots of other details, but what could you expect starting out in a MCOL city?

I’m in PA school now but in the process of interviewing for what might be my dream job in medical imaging industry. If I get the job pay will start around 120k at a large company with room for growth. If I stay in PA school I will have around 120k in debt and will probably work in vascular surgery.
