Talked myself into an accounting manager role with just 3 years of experience… am I in over my head?

When people talk about working for F100 what makes it so special? Will it be much better in terms of future career opportunities? Even the pay is not that impressive

I have started a side hustle with two friends. It's Climate Tech related. We have been working with it for the past year as a part-time hustle. We want to take it to the next stage.

My two other friends have a background in consultancy and one of them had a mentor who is really high up at a Big4. He would like to join the start up as a Partner. He seems really experienced and could help raising money, although he does not seem to care about climate change.

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.
