I'm Team Tricep and skullcrushers are my favorite - going heavy with slow, controlled eccentric. Can't seem to crack the bicep game, tho

As a former swimmer, the tris are naturally prominent so biceps all day to get the full picture going

Tricep makes up 2/3 of your arm size and the long head makes up 2/3 of your tricep.

Both are important, but I hit triceps 2x more than biceps for that reason.

Triceps. I like working biceps more because it’s easier but triceps are what’ll prevent the 35+ bingo wings 👀😣

For me: tricep extension [pushdown] on a cable machine. high rep - nothing better for size.

Over the last few years I’ve allowed myself to gain 40 pounds. I often feel uncomfortable and unattractive in my own body, and I fear that the extra weight puts me at greater risk if I were to catch Covid (though I am vaccinated). Despite all this, I struggle to find the motivation to change. I have lost weight before, but it all came creeping back. I feel very cynical about trying to lose it again. I guess I am just not unhappy enough to try again. Has anyone been in the same boat?

I normally lift in the evening after work and want to explore moving to before work lifts. Anyone done this? Every time I lift early in the morning it’s nowhere near the level of my afternoon workouts

I think I need to give up on finding a natural deodorant that actually works.

I’ve tried Native, Dove 0%, Kopari, Toms, Crystal, Secret Aluminum Free. Curie gave me a horrible reaction because of my sensitivity to baking soda.

Anyone else struggle to switch to natural? Find anything that finally worked?

I do an hour workout and split it between 10 mins cardio and 50 mins strength workout. Q - do you do cardio first or last? I do it first, but see a lot of folks at the gym do it in the end. Any benefit of one vs the other?

I need advice from younger 🐠 who are closer to my son’s age than I am. He’s finishing up his 1st year in college and he’s gained the Freshman 15+. He plays a college sport, so he’s getting some activity, but with classes a hybrid of in-person and online, he’s not as active as usual and I think he’s enjoying unlimited food on his dining plan. I’ve heard jokes about the Freshman 15, but not seen how this plays out. Is this common? Do most people lose it when they adjust to college?

What do you do to automate you lifestyle/remove decision fatigue to reach your health and fitness goals? For example: I meal prep so I know calories and macros of all my meals without having to count each time M-F (unless going out with friends/SO) and I run first thing in the morning the same 4 days every week. I’ve found that making healthy habits a part of my lifestyle and routines makes them easier to stick to and would love any additional ideas!
