I have a question for my fellow PI paralegals in Texas. TPCIGA requires that we submit all medical bills through the clients insurance before proceeding further. The client in question has Aetna. I sent the bills with a cover letter to Aetna via certified mail. I am having so much trouble getting a status on said claim. Does anyone here have experience with that and can assist me? I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?

Do you take the current economy into consideration when receiving job offers? For example you receive a good offer from a company like Meta/TikTok but are hesitant because they could be laying off soon or rescind an offer versus a lower offer at a more traditional and stable company that tends to be less reactionary with regards to layoffs? Not my current scenario but just curious. I would like to make a move from current employer but this economy has me spooked.

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles.
