Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

Hi,
I had received a shortlisting call from Axis Bank. The HR told me link will be shared where I need to update my documents.
I didn't receive any link and HR confirmed that there is some system issue hence link has not come.
Now, it has been 4-5 days, HR is not receiving my calls.
Is someone aware about such issue with Axis Bank HR portal? Axis Bank Ltd

Dubai spots are fewer than Riyadh, and are therefore typically reserved for higher caliber people (those transferring from other big offices or other MBBs or US firms, those with Ivy League degrees/M7 MBAs, or those with niche experience), or nepotism.
Anyone saying that the hiring standards for Riyadh are on par with those at Dubai is delusional quite frankly - it all comes down to supply and demand.
Above is correct.

Now we are back to hiring for Dubai as we are full in Riyadh, especially of non Saudi nationals.
I think this is due to timing of the year,
So leverage that until you can if you want to come to Dubai.

Are you still hiring entry level consultants?

yes
I think you’re confusing two things here. Most firms in the Middle East are now recruiting actively for their Riyadh offices vs Dubai. As for recruiting from Riyadh, it’s not that high, most recruits still come from other countries
OW yes that's exactly what I mean
You’re right: It’s complicated for international firms to balance their footprint across the Middle East given market fluctuations and government requirements. As a consequence they have to pivot a lot.

Dubai hiring is still going strong imo. Most people hired in Riyadh are locals to fulfill the quota.
If you're international coming out of uni, chances are they'll put you in Dubai because the international worker quota is being reserved for PL+.
The confusion must come from the fact that it is very different based on the level.
I thought PL+ would be more likely to be placed in Dubai because they have more negotiating power vs someone coming out of uni.
I actually see more of the entry level recruits being placed in Riyadh whereas the experienced roles are advertised as Dubai
