The general rule of thumb for a mortgage is 28% (primary residence) of gross income. My firm switched up their process and now instead of nice size raises it’s large bonuses. So getting increasing my gross income doesn’t really change unless I include my bonus which is obviously a variable. Is their a recommended approach for these scenarios? Maybe use agi on tax return instead of gross income?

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!
