A new head of TSA was hired two years ago who implemented this in high traffic airports to speed the lines along after some high level officials missed flights out of O’Hare
I travel with dog treats. FML
It’s faster, also who would you trust more to sniff out drugs, bombs, potential terrorists TSA or the dog. I’ll go with the dog every day.
They do that in Vegas as well. Makes the line go pretty fast. Not sure why though.
Boston’s been doing that for months. Regular security then gets treated like pre-check. Seems reasonable, especially since the effectiveness of all the other crap is questionable anyways
I’ve seen it a bunch at TPA, and once at MSY. Works pretty well if you ask me
The dogs are more efficient. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/669316001
Would love for this to become the norm. Going through regular security two to three times a week is a painful process.
(Those of us here on visa are not eligible for PreCheck, with some minor exception)
@K1 which side of TPA? Haven’t seen it in my trips through
C terminal where SWA is
Ah ok, only been through A and D (or whichever Delta is) recently.
