You can do what the rich do. Ask to increase the street sweeping in your area, implement permit parking with the city, no parking periods, etc. it’ll take a while but it’s how you get it done.
If you want things to change, get out and Vote Rick Caruso for Mayor. With Bass, it’s unfortunately going to be more of the same.
Lmaaaao ok
Vote Caruso, he’ll get it done
I echo the others, vote and volunteer for Caruso. Bass proved in the last debate that it’ll be more of the same and that she’ll increase taxes.
There’s no other option but to move to Beverly Hills or Burbank. There’s certain places that you NEVER see that type of activity simply because the community doesn’t allow for it.
Rising Star
I’ve never seen homeless in my neighborhood. Walking uphill is apparently a barrier.

311 might be able to help with clearing out the trash. Not sure about the zoning regarding overnight parking. If you can reach an operator at 311, they may be able to forward your call to the correct department to help you lodge a complaint.
LA311 also has an app, but action as result in my neighborhood is usually slow even when your report
Gonna take a wild guess and say you likely live in Venice.
Along the w silver lake dr?
Be accepting and inclusive, let them be
Idk if this is satire or not but you definitely don’t have to be accepting of someone destroying your street with their trash
Move out of LA City (Silver Lake). I just moved from a city of LA neighborhood where “nothing” could be done to an incorporated city. Even when I reported for 72 hour parking rule, dumping trash, or even LAHSA to help get the person housed, nothing would happen in my old neighborhood.
There are still homeless folks in my new incorporated city, but the police and social services agencies are much more responsive and don’t tolerate behaviors such as you described. Sorry you are dealing with this.
Definitely don’t vote for Hugo who would def leave those vans untouched.
If tax payers learned how these social services organizations mismanaged funding, they would be furious.
What neighborhood is this?
Do these people appear to be meth heads or on some other type of drugs?
There's definitely a couple meth heads. Most of them appear to just be run of the mill alcoholics though
Putting moral considerations aside, you can only park in a public spot for 72 hours. You can submit complaints on their website to get them chalked and towed if they don’t move.
On which website?
Where do you live?
