The recruiter wants to make me an offer for a Sr.Technical Architect (L8) position at the Salesforce CSG team. He mentioned a base range of $175k-200k and wants me to come up with a salary expectation. No mention of RSU yet.

1) What do you guys think I should potentially ask for in terms of Base? I personally think there's more room above 200k on base.
2) Is RSU even negotiable in this company?

Any other hiring managers feeling like all of your candidates are asking for more money last minute just to see how far they can go? Like if we say the range is 110-130K, they say they’re looking for 135K, you offer 135K and then they say they won’t take the job for less than 150? Not even with competing offers. Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY?
