Hi All, Please help to chose between cognizant and harman. I got two offer of 26 LPA from cognizant in kolkata location and 28 LPA from harman pune location. In harman project will be with Adobe client. In cognizant, I don't have any idea about project details. My skill is node js, angular js, JavaScript and experience is 7.3 years. I am from kolkata. Please help to choose between this in terms of job security, onsite. Cognizant Harman Connected Services

People using WW3 like a rain forecast. And you wonder how it is desensitized?
Every single conflict is a precursor for WW3 for social media. The term is a meme now. Just like how casually people tag others as nazis or racist …you are just diluting it all.
We call every war the beginning of ww3
How is it unlike the others? A world war requires super powers to be on opposite sides. Russia can do nothing. They haven't even been able to defeat Ukraine to their "world power" shame. China has no dog in the fight and will never get involved. Europe will do nothing. Iran will soon run out of ammunition. Where is the world war coming from? Cuba? Or the Dear Leader?
This is like a truant kid being whipped in 70s elementary and the others with bad reputations stay hush lest they become the next focus point.
Russia is not going all in because the main goal of this phase of operation is to keep the war going so the current regime in Russia could stay in power as long as possible and tell the population that there is still an external threat. They are also constantly investing more and more into their military power and learn constantly. With higher price of oil they could spend even more.
Pretty sure China is doing something already.
Well this kind of war is unlike any of the prior wars so I say there is more chance of this being actually one
It’s not all that different from seeking regime change in Iraq and Afghanistan.
China has plenty to be concerned about == oil imports, but their power projection capabilities past the first island chain is limited.
China has 5+ months of oil reserves, continues to import from Russia and Iran through shadow fleet vessels outside the Arabian Gulf, and has stopped exporting the oil and gas that it has already processed. Plus, Bloomberg reported that China received only 10% of its imports directly from Iran.
Anyone who doesn’t think people are desensitized about this being WW3 is literally Hitler… /s

There isn’t an alignment of major powers picking sides. Because there are so few super powers, a “world war” is very unlikely. The only real scenario for a major war is China versus US over something like Taiwan. That wouldn’t be a “world war”, even if other countries were drawn in like Japan. Better to classify the risk of “a war” versus something that’s more hyperbole.
What can we do? Write a proposal for how we can help make the war better using AI. Include 10% discount and keep margins high by having a large offshore team.
Meanwhile big 4 rushing to sell junior resources to the military on secondments
