There should be a reimbursement category called things I've left at hotels/on airplanes. Started thinking of the things I've forgotten and it adds up over time

I left a new girlfriend at a hotel in Maui once and never came back. And I do not want reimbursed ;)

So you want to be reimbursed for being irresponsible...hmmm

If that's the case, I'll start "leaving" things on planes for reimbursement..

@D2 I am usually pretty good at remembering my stuff but occasionally you get distracted or busy. I've lost a whole group of chargers and workout clothes that I've hung up to dry

Do I get a reimbursement for my self-respect?

Hi! I have many years of experience in Compensation and Benefits (HR) strategies to attract, retain and motivate talents in big corporations. I want to find a way to bring solutions for startups and entrepeneurs that are already in the need of such support for their own companies. I want to find ways to bring meaningful and practical solutions at reasonable costs for these organizations. Any ideas on how to become aware of their specific needs? C&B, talent management, performance appraisal.

I’m really discouraged. My after tax / after 401k contributions etc. take home pay is $6,500 monthly. I have $60,000 in savings / stocks for a down payment but even looking at a $550,000 home, my monthly payment would be about $3,400 from the calculators I’ve been using. Is that too high?

So discouraged that houses where I live are about 50% higher than what they were 2 years ago, and now interest rates are around 5.25% for my credit score. This is like a 1750 sq foot home

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!
