You'll probably get approved but between those other cards you seem covered. Unless you'll be traveling places that need Visa/MC

@ey1 I order a lot of Chinese food and they usually only take visa/mc 😂 but more importantly, the main parking structure at the client site only takes visa/mc and I do not want to be using my debit card for any transactions for security reasons and also want to get points/cash back for everything I can.

I'm in the same exact boat OP. What made you pick sapphire preferred? And also, how do you allocate your spending between delta and spg Amex?

@pwc1, current promo is great and generally heard great things about it. Delta, only like 3 recurring subscriptions totaling less that $50 a month. SPG, all hotel stays ~$2k a month, all other spending is on discover

Best card for traveling. Plus 50k points sign bonus is great

I looked at sapphire and maybe I understood it wrong, but it seemed like their redemption partners didn't include delta or spg....which didn't work for me since I use those two programs exclusively

Apply for it at a local branch. The banker can actually approve you, skipping all the administrative bs on the back end. Took me 15 mins to walk out of the bank approved for 21k

Chase now has a limit of how many recent applications you can have and be approved. Make sure you meet this before or you'll waste a hard pull. Also I will shamelessly send you a referal if you want.

How to signal to a client that you’re interested in going to work for them in-house? I’ve been working with a particular client on and off for the last 2 years. It’s an interesting business and the GC is an absolute pleasure to work for, even in stressful situations. I’d like to let him know that I’d be interested in joining his team, if any positions become available. Any tips?

I have been applying to jobs nonstop and honestly feel so disheartened. I have my MBA with a healthcare management concentration and I even had my resume professionally done. I have almost 4 years total healthcare experience with the last almost 2-2 1/2 years in management. I am ready for a change and looking for a remote job, preferably in healthcare/project/program management. I am even open to entry level healthcare IT. Would appreciate any help!
