what is the yearly hike percentage in Ericsson..
Hi Fisher, still Ericsson offering WHF?
I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

Anyone have belt recommendations?

Is the assurance practice pretty big in San Diego? I am currently in federal advisory but thinking of switching bc I don't think advisory is for me since I'm a CPA and rather do something is more aligned with my cpa license ..
Thanks EY 1 & 2
SD is gorgeous weather wise, better than LA, no traffic, great food. There's no 'jobs' on SD really, but as a consultant it should be a fine. Housing market is better in SD than LA as well. West kinda blows for projects, depending on your SL, Check with colleagues in your SL in the west and see how they like it. You could be forced to change competency, a lot of P/U work down there and in the west.
Yes, it's pretty much all assurance, tax, and IT Audit as the main advisory footprint there
San Diego is big on public sector consulting. Navy and marine corps contractors
I'm in Advisory, I have no knowledge of the assurance practice in the west. I would think it would be fairly easy to network and find people who are and could tell you. I know quite a few people with CPA's that left and went to advisory. Just depends on what you wanna do with your life, just because you have a CPA, doesn't mean you're condemned to checking boxes for the rest of your life. Grow professionally and be happy with your choices. Good luck
