Get on a CDM already...

Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Seems like they’ve all had layoffs we have another warn notice for Takeda in MA and there will be layoffs (exec team calling it “the efficiency program” aka layoffs) for the next two years. We completed year 1 of a 3 year plan so I would avoid Takeda for now.
The "efficiency" initiative started several years ago, Prior to Dan the supply chain began condensing, Folks rapidly departed in droves because they were bored to tears, decisions had to follow a monolithic philosophy & approvals/decisions were reviewed/undermined from the VP level down to the Manager.
What departments were hit?
R&D was hit just over a year after IT "leadership" pushed a bunch of folks out...hate to hear it then, and hate hearing this now
Novo and Lilly
I would if I worked there?
Check their career webpages regularly
AbbVie
Interestingly, both Gilead & Takeda posted new Recruiter/Talent Acquisition roles
I would avoid those companies except you’re looking for a way into the industry
Pfizer also had its layoffs
Sadly I was affected a few months back. I loved and would have stayed there until retirement but these are business decisions and I can respect that.
