This might be putting the cart before the horse here, but I’m going to go for it anyway. My goal is to lose some significant weight in the next few months to year. But I’m worried about my skin sagging, especially around my face. When other people in my family have lost weight I’ve noticed the skin around their face and chin l kind of sags and wrinkles. I’m turning 40 this year so I I know I don’t have the youngest skin. How do I combat this extra skin sag/wrinkling?

I just happened to learn a ton on this topic since I joined a natural weight loss program and lost 17 lbs myself. The key is to increase your protein intake and reduce carb intake. Don't cut out anything completely.

Figure out how much protein you need for your weight. Then focus on getting that amount of protein. Go for lean protein, reduce fat, reduce seasoning, and prepare your protein by steaming/boiling instead of frying, air frying, grilling, of sauteing. For your other vitamins and nutrients, get them from supplements and meal replacement to reduce calorie intake while still getting the necessary nutrients.

Figure out your basal metabolic rate (BMR) and feed yourself less than that. Basically, if your BMR is 1500 calories, eat less than that amount every day. For myself, I ate about 1100 calories when I was dieting. But I was never hungry because the protein amount that I ate was enough for my body. Best of luck with your weight loss journey.

I lost 17 lbs within 2.5 months. It took a lot of discipline. But my discipline came from my coach messaging ne every day to get updates on my weight and body measurements. Make sure you check your weight and body measurements daily too to stay on top. The more disciplined you are, the faster you'll lose weight and build a better lifestyle.
