No. I do management-side employment work. I have zero interest in working with plaintiffs. Plus on the defense side there is so much more you can offer to companies than just handling litigation
maybe. It depends on a number of things: 1. long term earning potential 2. benefits 3. opportunity for remote or hybrid work 4. coworkers/environment and 5. type of work & clients
It would be very situation specific. Generally, switching to plaintiff’s side is for a huge raise

What’s the nature of the plaintiffs’ practice? Not all are created equally. For example I would never do this in an employment practice but it’s a no brainer if the plaintiff practice is an established mass tort firm.
If personal injury plaintiff work, then absolutely not.
If something interesting like insurance recovery (not for homeowners) then yes.
