Those of you at defense firms: would you take an offer from a plaintiff’s firm for the exact same base salary you’re currently paid, plus bonuses via cuts of the fees recovered? Why or why not?

Got an offer within Product Ops (Mt View) for L4, 145k base, 15% bonus, 185k equity (33/33/22/12), 15 sign on. Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Last week- found out my boss, and our firm owner, has stolen from clients by adding expenses we didn’t spend.
Today- boss opens firm despite corona positive employee while the rest of us are waiting on our results. Told me to learn how to do his secretarial work.
What do I do? I can’t quit without another job and I have only been here 19 months. First job I was only at for 9 months so I’m scared to apply to new places.

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. My state bar and libraries don’t appear to have a practice series or anything like that, so it’s been hard finding something viable other than the ole’ Google and pray.

I was passed over for partner but will make of counsel at a V50 firm. I’ve put in the work to make partner, but the firm is making very few this year (less than 10). Am I wrong to feel disrespected?
