Thought I had made my $4000 spend for CSR but just found out the $450 annual fee doesn't count towards the $4000 🤔

I haven't even gotten my first bill yet and have already spent around $7k - almost entirely on billable expenses!

like

Are you sure recurring expenses don't count? That is very surprising. They earn interchange on those charges. So I don't see why it wouldn't count.

like

Well I have 3 more months to spend another $450 that's why I went to read the fine print

like

Wish we could use other cards to put billable expresses on but our expense audit team are crazy people

$450 should be a piece of cake. Holiday shopping, restaurants, groceries, Netflix/Hulu subscriptions, anything else!

It also doesn't include direct debits (Netflix, gym memberships, etc) to count towards the spend but I am going to go shopping this weekend lol

Amazon gift cards

I did it in 1 day

What did you buy 😳🤔

Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? Are there companies that will hire by seeing that I am willing to learn and am interested in frontend even tho I don’t have much experience with it yet?

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?
TIA

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.

Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.

JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?
