For generalist, usually right after manager promotion. Probably will get associate title, but that's when the most positions are available.

Later posible to move as a Junior Partner with heavy experience on a specific industry or function, but those roles are extremely scarce so really not a good strategy to wait.

Thank you!!

Is there an age limit to enter PE ops roles as well? Context: C2 in MBB, 32 years old. Over 9 years experience in Auto

Thank you, that’s very helpful. Do you recommend any headhunter/search firms that can help in targeting the right funds? And do you have any recommendations on materials to prepare for interviews?

Which agencies have good strategic media relations departments? I want to move to an agency where PR is seen as strategic consultants not yes men. And I've been doing biotech media relations for almost 3 years and want to continue doing it since I have a science and engineering degree. But I'm open to tech, healthcare and sustainability PR too. Any suggestions on where to look next?

So happy to finally be posting with my new title! I’ve been looking to get into a Product department since early 2020. In my case resilience was key in the face of constant, daily rejections. Also I’m in my 40s so don’t lose hope! It’s never too late to pivot your career.

Let's get Meta with it here for a second. Since it's Monday, and I'm relatively jr. I'm interested to hear your experience breaking into the industry as a minority. What was it like.

How difficult is it to laterally transfer? I’d appreciate any experiences and advice on how to go about this.

Just passed my notary public exam and going for the notary signing agent test next. I would like to gain some experience with the notary public and put the skills to the test. Does anyone have any advice regarding on how to do this? I’m trying to do this as a part/full time gig depending how it goes. I’ve heard good things and money is there. I’m trying to transition out of property management, at least the 9-5pm situation. Has anyone tried the notary signing agent gig, how has it worked out?

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.

I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.

Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.

Should I stay or should I go?

I’ve been having a super hard time concepting lately, especially knowing that the “concept” will mostly serve as a sticker to slap on the cover of a CVA and the top of a website. I feel like every pharma concept I’ve ever seen or created becomes so cheesy once it appears in tactics. Does anyone have any examples of HCP creative (non-DSA) that is both impactful and translates well into pharma tactics?

If you find this drop a comment and share what you've hated/loved. I've hated:
ApplicantStack
Talent Pool Builder
Oracle Recruitment Cloud TextRecruit (a neat idea but sooo not worth the cost per applicant imo) Career Builder (its odd to include on this list but it is)
I'm ambivalent about: Zapify (the thing that imports resumes from other places into your ats - so clunky compared to a manual upload)
SmartCRM - still new but it seems like an afterthought to SmartRecruit
