I am a Strategic Sourcing Manager with 7 YOE in both direct and indirect spend across various industries (Life sciences, IT and Insurance) I have been offered a role with Fidelity for 13 lpa + 1.5 variable. Offer seems better than the national average for similar roles but I feel I would be underpaid based on the current market, my skills and value I will be bringing to the table. Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

I'm using data jpa to connect to oracle DB in our API.

We have one scenario when the DB is down, then also normal flow should work.

Although it is working fine, but when we are checking the logs it's taking more than 1 second just to identify that the DB is locked, this is not within our SLA.

In the normal case it's processing within 200 ms.

We're using Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle 19c
