Can’t wait for WPP to announce this. Let us move to greener pastures. Cities are decaying and too expensive for us middle class people to afford houses in .
It's a clickbait headline. We're just letting go of office space that we don't use any more. Our talent and clients are distributed across the US, and work from anywhere is working. We'll be designing a new space in NY where we can gather and train our people and pitch our clients next year.
Tsk. Oh!!! I was like. Great. More out of work creatives. Guess I should have read the copy!
I’m fully remote and I think this makes all the sense in the world. I went to the NY office once in the last year; it was basically empty. That’s the consequence of an unparalleled wfh policy.
Im more interested in the $7m-$10m lost on crypto and NFT projects, what’s that about?
But that’s not ‘lost’ money, we all have clients who have budgets cut or don’t do work we thought they etc. Seems weird to call that out.
Bad headline
Love this - I think they are the first “major” agency brand to outline what is effectively a fully remote model. It makes business sense and this will do wonders for recruiting - I’m thinking of the approx 500 threads on here asking who’s hiring fully remote roles.
Very interested to see if any holding co. agencies follow suit, maybe when leases come up.
Swirlin' the bowl.
