I'd get a usb-c dock with 3 monitors. Maybe a sit/stand desk if you're so inclined. Spend some $$ on a good chair
Dedicate the room. Don’t mix use. It gets confusing having a multipurpose room. When you are there to work you need to work.
I personally prefer one large monitor over 2. Comfy chair (much harder to find than it should be). Quality wireless headphones. Desk space. Printer with wifi printing
27” 4K. Plenty of real estate. I snap outlook to one quadrant and excel to half leaving the fourth open for whatever I need.
If you don’t scale the test for the resolution (i.e leave it at 100%) it is a lot of room but you do need good eyes because the text is tiny relatively speaking.
2 24-inch monitors
Get a really awesome dog that you can hang out with all day long. Best co-worker ever.
This. Not a pup though - middle age dog that is totally fine with just chilling.
Invest in a stand up desk and anti-fatigue mat
I got a great standing desk from ikea. You also totally do need a good mat. Also figure out what your rules are. Can you work from a local coffee shop once a week?

Make sure to have healthy food to eat at home as well. It’s easy to go to the fridge and pantry when at home so plan ahead to stay healthy.
Make sure to build time in for showers and exercise.

Yes showers. I work from home quite a bit over the last few years. On the days I do not, I do not start my day without a morning shower. On the days that I do, I roll out of bed make a coffee and sit down to work, then every time frantically scrambling to get in the shower before my significant other gets back home from the office lol.
