To Big 4, MBB, tech firms, and others, what is your firm reimbursing for WFH setups?

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? First time visiting this city so it’d be great to take in some sights too (although that’s not a priority of course).

Hey all. I have an interview with an investment bank coming up. I am currently a senior associate at big 4 doing financial due diligence. Can anyone give me interviews tips/what to study? I am very new to the diligence (less than 3 months), so am far from understanding a deal start to finish.

The same usual bonus for EY India folks. Doesn't at all add up to the chest thumping we do as a practice during the town halls.
On top of this remote working ki naam pe bijli ka bill 10k per mahina aa rha hain. And the tech salaries pumping inflation in the economy. The same place which was available for a 35k is quoting 50k. I wish atleast the hike is inflation beating :/

Really hoping to avoid judgment on this post. Has anyone had to sign up for government or state assistance after becoming unemployed? Was the process difficult? I have a young son who's at home with me all day right now and I'm looking for a job that I can work from home, but in the meantime we need to eat and I need to pay my rent. Thanks for any advice.

So my fiancé and I are having a microwedding in Rocky Mountain National Park next year, and we’re working with an elopement planner.
She sent over a sample ceremony (intro, sweet poems + passages to be read, and example vows), and we read through it last night. I was reading it out loud while my fiancé made dinner, and it just hit me that this is really happening. I have recently joined NTT DATA. But realised that I am not really liking the project and work here. on top of that they are asking to come back to office. I have offer from other company (WFH) and aware of the work which I want. Should I put my resignation after 2 months of joining in NTT? What could be the negetive impact here?

Hi guys, After CAF completion by last week, yesterday I received a call from the HR for the second round of evaluation. So, I attended it yesterday and performed well by answering 90-95% of the questions. Even the interviewer gave good comments on my performance. But suddenly today I received an email that my candidature isn't suitable for the role and they're keeping my profile in the database.
