Today at work, during a strategy meeting, a senior colleague casually dismissed my proposal, suggesting it might be too complex for someone "at my level" to handle. This isn't the first time, and it's soooo disheartening each time. How do you handle such instances of bias without escalating conflicts or burning bridges? I've been working here for over a year and my associate basically never does a thing. I get I'm the analyst but I'm the only one on my team. I pull together every page.

My associate does minimal reviewing, if even, usually it goes straight to my vp. And even my vp has pulled pages together.
