Just do well at your current job and you’ll be recognized. Tech companies promote pretty quickly believe it or not. I know several of my friends got rapid promotions in several different tech companies. I’ve gotten 3 promotions in under 4 years for example.
Here’s an example of one (not mine - he’s a frequent poster on LinkedIn though!)
Work hard and get promoted

Two things:
1. Depending on the actual job, a lateral transfer is fine. Also depending on the place, sometimes an associate is higher than an analyst
2. You don't have to call yourself an analyst on your resume.
You just changed a job and are already planning for a next one! 😅
Wouldn’t say planning for a next one - I’m excited to join. I just like to think ahead and make sure I’m not going to pigeon hole myself, but if I am, can solve for it earlier rather than later
Stay long enough to get promoted in that company.
Why’d you take it without solving this concern?
Makes sense. I left because i disliked my current job ( a lot), the big tech brand was attractive, and literally 2x comp is a bit hard to pass up....plus I’ll enjoy what I’ll do at new job. It’s just the title that irks me slightly
