Trying to build a case to negotiate a higher salary in a couple of months where I started working about 3 months ago with the promise of a 6 month review.
I work in Milan, Italy as a UX designer and feel highly underpaid (26000 gross per year).
I'm 29yrs old and have 5 years of experience. Came to Milan to do my master and finished in 2021 (in Italy basically my whole previous experience to the master is cancelled out, they cannot understand...)

I’ve been negotiating a settlement on behalf of a client. OP is a major corp. we’ve gone back and forth for months, almost a year. Finally came to a final agreement and we’re reviewing for final signature. Then client is reviewing and decides they want something else modified. It’s a point of contention. OP has said no. - Learn Typography: Typography is essential because 60-70% of user interfaces are about written content displayed in a meaningful way.

- Learn Layout and Composition: You don’t need to be pixel perfect, but if you place labels 10px above inputs, you must do that consistently across your whole design.

- Learn Color: Color doesn't need to be complex. Understand how colors interact with each other and learn how color can set moods.

How to make a leap from UI/UX into product design? What skills should a PD have? With 5 YOE and I still feel like a junior.
