Trying to get some perspective on the fairness of my comp situation here.

I'm a first year and will complete 2 years this summer. Year 1, my salary was 73k (apparently this was after adjusting to NYC cost of living lol). No bonuses for year 1s. Start of year 2, I got a raise, 83K. Doing = to 3 ppls jobs. They told me I should be grateful bc it was the largest % raise they gave to first years. Still can't help but feel I'm being underpaid relative to ppl at my level in other firms..?

Friend, don’t take this the wrong way, but you are making 71K adjusting to pre-Covid levels (December 2019). Upskill and leave

70k was my starting salary in 2018 in MCOL city. You’re underpaid

What kind of consulting are we talking?

like

Yeah sounds like you’re way under compensated. Feel out some other opportunities and see what other firms are willing to pay you would be my recommendation, then you can either bring it up to your management (which sound like they will just say you’re ungrateful) or take the higher paying job

That was lower than my starting salary pre-covid. Way underpaid. Get linkedin premium and find another offer

Hi everyone, need some advice.
A local b d / ria has an opening for an Advisor. We provide the leads in the form of current abandoned brokerage clients and the advisor just needs to build relationships and grow the business.
In addition he/she would have the opportunity to build and lead a team of other advisors.
For a candidate with 12+ years of experience what would be an appropriate compensation structure (base plus commission %)
Thank you in advance for your help.

Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? Hello!

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.

I’m looking for a new job, working remotely, that doesn’t require a Bachelor’s. (I’m currently going back to school to get one, as I only have an Associate’s in Mathematics right now)
I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. I’ve seen coworkers get positions they aren’t able to do simply because they have a degree and then leave a mess for me to clean up but I’m not allowed to have the position. Any suggestions?

Is 27 LPA for Senior Con 2 is good in Capco

YOE - 11.5 years

MasterCard offering - Level 6 at YOE 11.
1. What % of the variable one gets in a year? Is it 100% as they mention in the offer letter or less? Does it depend on performance ratings?
2. Is Level 6 okay/good/appropriate for 11 YOE?
3. Which month is the appraised salary effective from?

I need some insight. Just had a phone interview for a management job in healthcare. I felt comfortable and felt like the interview went well. I ask questions and the ACNO said that I asked great questions. They said that they had other interviews to do as well but said the next step is to bring me in for an on-site interview (I live 1,000 miles away) and that the recruiter would be reaching out. Thoughts? I’m going to drive myself crazy analyzing everything.

Hello,

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?
