Trying to leverage a background in product development, market sizing, and distribution research in the Asset/Wealth management space. Thought consulting would be a good area, but finding the level of research limited and projects in the space seem to be dominate by internal teams. Anyone have recommendations or work for internal research teams they’ve enjoyed. Trying to get a better understanding of the space overall.

Hello everyone. I am looking to transition into the medical writing field, but I don’t seem to have the right type of experience. I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year.
