Interviews.... I’ve been with Accenture for 10 years and starting to get a few bites outside. Do you still wear suits to a interview or zoom call or is business casual ok? Years ago it was always suits but not sure about 2020. Not an executive role. Thanks and have a great thirsty Thursday!
I’ve been with my creative partner since we started (3.5 years ago). We just interviewed at my dream agency together and I want to reach out to said agency and let them know I’d be more interested in a position without my current partner. I know it’s risky but there’s very little chance we’ll get this job anyways, so why not right? Right??
Anyone else in that post-final interview phase of constantly refreshing your email? I hate this haha
I have a final interview with a Harvard partner aka Deloitte this evening. How should I prepare? Plus questions to ask? Deloitte No Deloitted jokes please

It’s been about two weeks since a sr partner at Kearney said he passed my resume to the recruiting team asking to get me started in the interview process for a DT associate in NA region, but I’ve not heard anything yet. Should I give it a few more days before reaching back out, few more weeks, or even sooner than those two options? I don’t want to fall through the cracks when campus recruiting picks up, but I also want to be thoughtful about the outreach and not pester.
Can anyone with financial modeling experience help me set up a simple case study. I have most of down but have some questions
35 weeks pregnant and just had an interview for a full time job I would love to land. I haven’t disclosed anything, but if an offer comes, what’s the best way to play it out and not lose the opportunity?
VENT AHEAD: I’m at my wits end trying to push product best practice. Today I gently suggested to my broader team that We should do more user interviews and I got several concerned emails back saying “I’m concerned we’re reverting to a product build process, when I was hoping we could work as fast as possible “. ???? We are building a product , why would I not follow a “product build process “??
Has anyone interviewed with Intuit for Biz Ops before? I’m curious about the work that they typically do.
Does anyone know about Risk Dyanmics at McKinsey & Company. What is it like? I have case interviews coming up and wonder what it is a techy brand or not. I am looking for modelling/machine learning in Risk/compliance area.
For those who have made/making the move from FDD over to FP&A, how do you address the lack of financial modeling skills in interviewing? Seems like a big gap when at Manager or above level when that’s one of the biggest parts of the FP&A function.
I accepted an offer and I’m still interviewing. Wondering how bad it would be if I rescinded 🤷♀️

Hello guys, Recently i was interviewed for the 2nd technical round of nagarro in android, i answered almost all questions and was very much sure that it will be cleared. But unfortunately the interviewer rejected me, because of lack of skills in unit testing. Is it fair?
Have an interview with CPO in a hotel’s restaurant. Already had an phone interview with the same person. Should I wear a tie ? Or just stick to formals without a tie?
Would you say summaries are as effective for self help books like "the subtle art of giving a fk" and other similar books? I feel the books themselves ramble on too much on a side story only to tell a point that could be summed up in a couple sentences. Or am I just not getting good book recommendations for growth/development on mental well being and productivity
I have this problem that I picked up from my father growing up: can’t effectively communicate negative feelings to people that I’m close with. I sort of expect them to know, and when they don’t get it or don’t show efforts that I’m expecting to receive, I start to distance myself from them and shut down. I started to reflect back on why I do this, and sense that this is some kind of a sick way of showing I have more power over the other person. How can I fix this?
I’m looking at changing careers from screenwriting to copywriting. How likely am I to get an internship/job at a good company without going to portfolio school? Or is portfolio school 100% necessary in order to land at the upper echelon agencies?
My flight left on time! Joy! Haha just kidding we have to land because we forgot to empty the lavatories. American Airlines why do you hate us all so much?
Do you feel like there are accounting/consulting specific mental health concerns that other people don't really understand? WLB for example
Can someone describe the work culture at Roland Berger for me? I’m curious to know what the work life balance is like, whether the PMs and Partners are generally nice, and what the promotion process would be like for an experienced hire (is it fair?))
I just started working at a Digital Strategy Consulting Boutique firm but the company is in Europe and we work in another language entirely. I started off as an intern (8 months) and now I am working full time. I am trying to learn the language to be more interactive with the clients and in the meetings but it's super difficult. Should I switch or learn the language and stay here for another year? It's a small firm and the pay is not that great but good for beginners in the country. Any advice?
PHR or SHRM? I am looking to get more certifications related to HR vs recruiting, but I am unsure on which one is "better" or will help me grow into more of a strategic HR role. Help!!!

Exit to Engagement Manager? Considering a move to an engagement manager role at a large tech company. Has anyone else considered this? What’s a typical pay range? Is there a “typical day” or do engagement manager responsibilities vary greatly from one company to another? What is the career path like for upward movement?
Any folks from CLT / North Carolina here? What are some great attractions / activities to do with toddlers this time of year?
Anyone have tools they’ve given their parents to help them learn / be more comfortable with technology as they WFH? My dad has been struggling having to rely more on computers / technology since he has started WFH. He’ll call me to help, but oftentimes I can’t sit through and help him figure it out since I am also working. Usually I’d just do it for him since it’s faster but in the long run him not knowing how to do things is stressing us both out. Any recs on training tools, etc he could use?
Non-political poll - how many non-billable hours have you logged so far this year? I’ll start: 143
I want to do strategy consulting on the side and serve prior clients (and net new clients) directly. How do you all think about pricing (and how much)? Hourly rate? By project? Something in between? One-man shop.
What is everyone thinking about sending their kids back to school in a few weeks? From a safety standpoint, I want kids to stay home, but from a learning and mental wellbeing standpoint, obviously kids benefit most from physically being the classroom. I also don’t know how parents are going to manage working from home as well as monitoring their kids throughout the school day. (Let’s keep this respectful)
Fauci: “In an unlikely but conceivable turn of events, what if [a scientist performing gain of function research] becomes infected with the virus, which leads to an outbreak and ultimately triggers a pandemic? Many ask reasonable questions: given the possibility of such a scenario – however remote – should the initial experiments have been performed? Scientists working in this field might say – as indeed I have said – that the benefits of such experiments outweigh the risk” Was it worth it?
