Views on LinkedIn? Is it still a site that helps people find a job? Because I swear my page is filled with nothing but spam, weird AI content, and people trying to sell me something.

You may need to purge some of your connections. That might clean up your feed. It’s still very much a place to find a job and connect with people in your industry.

A survey was recently done, and LinkedIn was not the number one job site, indeed was. It had almost a quarter more successful candidates find a job on indeed than LinkedIn. And my suggestion is if you’re open to work do not put that banner on.

I've found my last two jobs through LinkedIn. I only accept connection requests from people I know or are in my field with multiple mutual connections, so I don't get a lot of the garbage posts on there.

For anyone else looking to do the same, I’m happy to answer anything about the process - check in, flights, mask usage, security, visa checks, airports, social distancing, etc.

Just had a very uncomfortable conversation with a partner. I have some time off booked to go to my brother’s wedding (I’m the best man). We were chatting and I mentioned that my brother’s future husband is so nice and really a great guy, and we already consider him a member of our family. Partner’s tone immediately shifts and as we’re ending the call he says, “Okay, enjoy the time with your family at the civil ceremony.” Like… girl you live in California, you cannot be this backward.

Is there a special title at your company for a Project Manager that works on product development and not an IT project manager?

An example might include launching a new product from conception through form writing, rating, filing, programming, training, and implementation, or the transfer of products from an acquisitions writing company to ours.
