2 YOE at a boutique consulting firm primarily working on IT related projects. End goal is VC/PE. What steps would you take to make the transition?

I was originally thinking FDD or restructuring consulting for a few years > IB or just get an MBA > PE. This path doesn’t seem feasible at the because it seems like I can’t even get my feet in the door for FDD or restructuring.

Is it a viable option to make a move from big4 audit to big4 corporate finance division?

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. I'm in Silicon Valley, and been in the industry for about 15 years now. Fell into the corporate in-house role and been in those ever since. I primarily do marketing/brand design. Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Have you seen women wear ties and "masculine"-looking suits to work? Was it accepted by client and team? I've never worn a tie to work, but when I've worn clothing that had a more "masculine" fit either in grad school or some work environments, I've gotten comments and looks, or sometimes asked (or people gossiped) about my orientation. I graduated with my BA last year. I worked for a law firm as a paralegal, but i am thinking about going back to school for a MA in accounting to switch into the accounting field. Deciding on a career path

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.
