Both cities are awesome. Personal preference, depending on what you’re into. I slightly prefer Paris but London is interesting. You won’t care about $100 after you’re there.
Paris is far and away better than London. The food is not even comparable, the sights are better. Hell I think Parisians are more pleasant to deal with than Londoners. (Learn some basic french tho)
I’ve been to both several times with friends and solo but definitely prefer London.
What do you do on solo trip? I’ve been to London previously with family but want to go again solo because I love it. Just don’t know what I would do by myself. (31F)
Depending on how long you have, you can do both via train. Most people will likely say you need X Amount of days to do both, but it’s pretty easy to take an early AM train from London to Paris and make a two-day trip. No need to limit yourself if you have interests in both!
Both are great, let’s just say you won’t go wrong as long as you don’t end up Wuhan
Do both and train to Paris/back. I did this last year and it was awesome. Def spend more time in Paris though- I had 1 too many days in London and wished I had it in Paris
How goods your French?
At least learn the basics "Bonjour", "Merci", "Au revoir", "Désolée", "Excusez moi", conversational phrases like that. French people will appreciate it a little.
Paris is more interesting but the people aren’t as nice as in London
I suggest Northern Italy. Off the beaten track. So peaceful in the streets.
