We hired a nanny to take care of my daughter (21 months) and part for my 4 year old son until he starts a full day summer camp. We just moved to the area and we didn’t have the best turn out for nanny’s and hired someone temporarily for the summer until we can figure out child care full time for my daughter. Whelp on the first day my daughter fell down the stairs while the nanny was watching her. I understand things like this happen with kids but what would you do in my position?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit).
