Just received an offer with expected / standard salary for role but no signing or relocation bonus. They know I don’t have any other offers which is why I assume they didn’t offer any signing bonus - do I have any chance of getting one without “leverage”?

Is anything wrong with tech Mahindra hiring after submission of documents and salary discussion they want to have again technical round..if they want to reject why they do it in early stage.almost 3 week of search time wasted.

I want out of healthcare so badly but as the sole wage earner in my family I cannot afford to start over in an entry level role in a new industry. I am so systemically exhausted I am struggling to translate my current skill-set to market myself into non- healthcare markets. When I say non- healthcare, I truly mean completely NOTHING to do with any direct clinical or patient related/facing anything. Anyone have any worda of wisdom or insight? Any positive experiences in doing this yourselves?

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? EoY - 4.9 Mainframe production support. Still 35 days remaining in notice period.
Barclays offering me 8.75 and Capgemini offering me 9.4. Both are fixed. And still lot of interviews are in place. I was really interested in joining Barclays and expecting that they will give atleast 10.5 L but they are saying no budget for that and asking for response tomorrow. Not sure what to decide. What's your take on BT vs Rockwell Automation?

Which is a better company?
I know both these companies are from different domain. But still would like to know which is a better choice.

Currently I'm working at BT. However I want to switch to Rockwell Automation in the same profile but as a senior.

I Live in a joint family(parents,uncles,grands)5-6 brothers and sisters (including uncle's son and dauthers) .
Being the eldest son and studied in joint family I understand that I have responsibility to fulfil.

But since few months I have observed that my family members are not at all grateful to my contribution. They sometime say that I didn't make any contribution which is not true , even they know that.
I have helped and helping my family when I was earning only 20 k per month
