We’re losing employees, understandably so, because of how customers behave. That means longer wait times for support which makes customers even angrier. What happens when there is no one left to do the job?

Robots? AI? 🤷‍♂️

It would suck to lose my job, but tbh it might be better for society if no human had to endure a customer service job ever again

Yeah what’s your industry? And is the employee retention a customer or a business problem?

But yah start looking at ways to deflect inbound & add AI.

(Not sure if you were venting or asking for suggestions )😅

Maybe support employees more, leaving aside the idea that the customer is always right. In this way create a balance because you can't serve your customers without employees.

Offer better benefits to employees. Unfortunately, we can't control customer behavior, but improving employee working conditions can help reduce resignations. Opening some channels that do not require employees, like some tutorials or common problems and solutions can also help

Just curious to how my firms (wealth management/bank/trust) comp compares with others out there. I received a promotion earlier this year from an Investment Advisor, AVP to Senior Investment Advisor, VP and moved from $110K to $140K ($130 salary + $10K discretionary bonus) all in. By meeting expectations in 2 pay cycles, the base bumps up to $175K + bonus. Grown in this role over about 10 years with the same firm, MBA + CFA; top 10 city and living comfortably as dual income household.

I’m trying to decide wether to transition to one of the following, all within tech companies:

- Sales Engineering
- Tech sales (SDR)
- Customer Success

Which one would you choose based on career growth, income generation and network growth . For some context, I have some background as systems engineer.

Lots of right wing hysteria about liberals trying to engineer equality of outcome to correct sexual/racial inequities (in higher ed, for example). I think we all want socioeconomic, gender and racial barriers to opportunities to be addressed, but no significant number of people really believe in equality of outcome right? This is just a straw man argument.

Hello LTItes, i joined LTI a month back.
I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.
Can anyone please help me with this? I'm confused and scared.

Thanks
