I joined a banking company post MBA from one of the top B school of India. However, the job does not aligns with my interest. I'm more inclined towards tech roles and I have been applying externally for product manager role for last 4 months. New joiner are not allowed to switch to other roles internally till they complete 2 years.
But, I'm not getting shortlists as most of the PM/APM roles requires prior PM experience. Can anyone please let me know what to do in such a situation.

What’s a good exit salary from and SC? 175k

I'm looking to gage typical salary for my current position, I'll be asking for a raise next week and I know I am being grossly underpaid.

I'm a sales assistant working in retail manufacturing for a swimwear supplier based in NYC. I make 48k before tax, which I feel is extremely under-market value for this location.

I have been with the company for 1.5 years now and have recieved a 60 cent raise & 1200 Christmas bonus (pre-tax). Any advice on a reasonable increase? Would love a gym stipend

Industry vets - in your experience how recession proof is insurance? I was not yet in the job market last recession but I watched my mom get laid off and struggle to find employment during that time for the next 1.5 years. I was wanting to hit the job market towards the end of this year, but now I worry that if I do move companies, the recession could put me in position of last one hired first one fired. I got offer from CTS. But Hr is asking to provide form16 or pf statement for all my previous companies, else my background check will fail. Is it true?
I can provide these for my current company, but difficult to get for earlier ones, since it's been almost 10 yrs I have left them. I have written to hr of previous companies but no response yet.
I told CTS HR that I have experience letter, relieving letter, salary slips , bank statement, but she says it's not enough. Any thoughts pls?

What to do when you leave the small pond?

I've spent the last decade getting really good at whatever job I've had at the time. Doing what people told me to do, filling in gaps, being the cheerleader that everyone got along with.

Problem now is that I'm finally in a place where I can set my own path and I feel totally lost and unprepared. I've even looked for advice on SMART goals at my level but the shame/inadequacy/imposter syndrome is so strong.

Anyone else felt this way? What helped?
