What are some careers/roles you have seen folks with risk (primarily internal audit) experience break into? I don’t want to go back to school for a secondary degree + I don’t mind a pay downgrade

I’m a first generation professional and a bit lost on what path I should take. I’m a senior at Deloitte in the assurance department. I’ll be honest and say that my priority is to make the most money I can in the future and would like to plan according to that priority. I have really good SOX 404 experience. My choices are the following 1) become the lead senior in my public client and stay in assurance 2)FSO 3) Advisory?

Bored to death in internal audit/SOX. What’s a good career change that would utilize my transferable skills? Work in financial services.

Perhaps this is a silly question, but how did people here decide on their career path? I feel really burnt out in my current job and want to transition to a new role, but I can’t decide on what path I want to take, and I don’t know if trying to stay in the same field but perhaps a different environment might change how I feel. To put things in perspective, I’m only a year out of undergrad and trying to figure out if I should apply to grad school or pivot career paths.

Just began studying for the CFE exam. I have access to past editions of the ACFE Fraud Examiners Manual. Does anyone have recommendations on where to get good practice questions? I’d like to avoid spending a fortune on the ACFE kit.
