What’s all the hype about safemoon?
My boyfriend just found my vibe...
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

I hate to sound old-fashioned and a fuddy-duddy, but piercings, tattoos, Kool-Aide colored hair strands and barely-there wardrobes are not appropriate for "professional" positions. If the position is solely by phone, like a call center or customer service rep, you may be able to get past the stereotype that those of your fashion sense are untrustworthy, lazy, and lack sound judgment. If the job involves face-to-face interaction with customers and other professionals, forget about it. Go see if the tattoo parlor or leather bar is hiring.
Things like tattoos or piercings may or may not be an issue. It all depends on the interviewer and/or the company culture. And, to be realistic about it, companies may care about that if the person will be dealing with the public. Hiring managers may not admit to passing someone over because of tattoos or dyed hair, but they don't need to. They can just say it's for another reason.
Surprised by some of the comments here, I really don't think tattoos and piercings are a huge deal anymore unless your appearance is significantly altered by it (face tattoos or excessive piercings maybe). A modest amount of tattoos and piercings really won't affect your ability to get a job where I'm at, but I guess I am in California so maybe things are different in other parts of the country.
Largely depends on the job and company. I have zero tattoos or piercings, other than ears, but I am overweight which 100% is held against me. Got my job based solely on phone interviews. If customer facing with customers that will care, it 100% matters.
