I am currently working on SAP CPI,PIPO,CPI-DS (basically Integration as a whole) development (also attend Support issues regularly) with experience of around 1 year. My leads are quite happy with my works.

For career growth, what shall be my ideal path ahead?
1. Only concentrate on Integration
2. Continue Integration for some years, then switch to Functional modules (in this case, after how many years should I ideally switch)


And what shall be the ideal time to switch companies?

How do firms see candidates seeking to lateral across practice groups? I’m a senior lit associate doing v well at my current firm but seeking a global relocation which might entail switching to a transactional practice. Thinking capital markets since I have a lot of experience in advising our clients of litigation risk when issuing debt etc. Would I even be considered (obvi I expect some cut in seniority)? Is this common?

I had very positive feedback on my interviews for a S&O role but the team hired someone internally. If I interview again for a differenr role, would I have to do all the interviews again or can I use some of the scores from previous interviews. I understand doing RRK again makes sense but what about GCA, googlyness or leadership . Thank you

I struggle w/ deep convos in social settings w/ partners. We have team dinners every few weeks that I go to, but find it tough to engage with them. Doing well on case, but feel it’s career limiting.

My background isn’t in marketing/branding/PR but I’m being thrown into an engagement for a small organization who has many different sub-brands. Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.
