M trying to get a job in pharma company since I got my work visa in jan , 2022 . I had my experience in India . Here m kind of fresh as no experience because of which even though I have all qualification for a job m not even landing up in an interview . Hello everyone. I never thought about making a career out of hr but its definitely something that I want to do now. Eventually, my goal is to become an HRIS analyst. At ADP i worked as a technical support analyst and helped clients with anything from troubleshooting system issues to reporting to processing payroll and much more. I've applied to over 100 positions and havent even advanced to a single interview. It has been rejection after rejection. Any suggestions on which positions to focus on?

What are your work hours? A company I am interviewing for expects in-office 8-5 pm all while touting work life balance and a 1-hour lunch break (that’s to be had with the team). Smells like a sneaky 9-hour work day to me. Thoughts?

Do I have a chance with MBB?

I’m currently working at a management consultancy (approx. 5000 employees) in the data division (in the UK).

I consider myself to be a top performer and was recently promoted from the grad scheme after 1 year at the firm (compared to average 1.5-2 years). I also have an offer for similar role at big4.

Is it worth applying as an experienced hire for MBB? I didn’t go to a target university so I’m wondering how I can maximise my chances in applying.

Hii, so here is the thing I've applied Unilever's UFLP program almost 4 months ago, and I have passed tests, games, video interview and never heard from them 3 months. When I believed I was rejected, I received an email

"We would like to inform you that due to a global system problem, our evaluation process is delayed but still continuing. When it is completed, you will be contacted."

And this email was 1.5 months ago.

Since starting at this company in January 2022, they’ve increased my base pay from 75k to 85k. Moved me in a desirable territory to maximize sales. allowed me to speak and train reps for what has been working. Given me the freedom to work strategies that work for me.

I absolutely love this company so far. I know my worth is higher than 85k base but sheesh. The way they value me and treat their employees right. Maybe it’s worth the lesser pay?

I love my job and the company that I've been working on for a year. My boss is great and the culture is very product focused. There's been tremendous learning for which I'm very grateful.
The only sticking point is that my compensation increase this year was 4% which isn't ideal since inflation has been so high it feels like a pay cut. I know I should change my job and to get ahead of the market. But it sucks to change jobs where I've enjoyed working so much and getting to learn a lot too.

Real Talk: everyone complains about how many apps they send in and how many interviews don’t pan out in product. I just landed my 2nd product role in 2 years with pretty minimal interviewing. I wasn’t interviewing with or looking for a role at a FAANG or the latest greatest almost unicorn but I know what I want. I don’t think I’m great at interviewing but overall (even outside of product) I’ve gotten offers with not that much work tbh. What’s your experience here?
